Leasing
Leasing a horse lets you ride and care for him, without the worry of the many responsibilities of owning the horse. Lessees are expected to clean the stall of the leased horse in addition to feeding the horse in the morning and evening.
Lessees are in the Breakaway Stables Saddle Club and will need to have biweekly meeting to work out a schedule (who will ride when, talk about trading chore days, etc.) The president of the club, Nickie Leonard, will be there for most meetings. Minutes should always be taken about everything discussed and must be reviewed by the president.
Multiple people can be leased to a horse at one time. In such a situation each lessee will have a scheduled time for riding and caring for the horse. Also, lenses will split the lease cost of the horse between them. For example, three lessees leasing a horse with a lease cost of $300 per month will each pay $100 per month.
